I caught up with African super model Ibinda and<br />
got her to share with our readers the journey so<br />
far to becoming one of West Africa's most<br />
experience models. Sunny Oisamoje<br />
I started modeling by accident when I moved to<br />
Accra Ghana to acquire a degree in English. A friend<br />
of mine adviced I go for an auditions by vilsco<br />
textiles and I was selected. It was an intriguing<br />
experience that triggered my passion for modeling. I<br />
didnt get another modeling opportunity for many<br />
months after my first experience because I was not<br />
signed to an agency.<br />
Nine months passed before I got another shot at the<br />
LAMODE FASHION<br />
runway, this time I was auditioned by a model<br />
management company that trained me and got my<br />
confidence in the right place. Before I started<br />
modeling I had a tomboy approach and had never<br />
worn high heel shoes. <strong>Mode</strong>ling as career has<br />
enhanced my personality and given an opportunity<br />
to explore new places, meet new people and earn a<br />
living.<br />
I have modeled in fashion shows within and outside<br />
Accra Ghana. showcased design clothing for<br />
designers all over Africa and diaspora. I am grateful<br />
for the opportunities modeling professionally has<br />
given me and my advice to aspiring young models is<br />
to stay focus and be passionate about everything
