6.2 Cleaning of the viewing panel
Covering of the panel with ash is normal and does not mean a malfunction. The viewing
panel can easily be cleaned with a dry cloth. Strong contaminations can be dissolved with
special glass cleaning agents.
6.3 Cleaning of the surfaces
Clean painted surfaces only when the paint has completely dried up since the refractory paint
could split up. For cleaning purposes only use a moist cloth to softly wipe and do not scrub. Do
not use glass cleaners or other solvent-based cleaning agents.
Clean powder-coated surfaces only with a moist cloth by softly wiping and not scrubbing. Do
not use scrubbing agents or acid/base-containing cleaners. Persistent stains can be cleaned
with commercially available glass cleaners.
7 Servicing
We advise you to perform servicing only through a specialised company. The functionality
of your stove depends very much on technically qualified and regular maintenance. The
frequency of servicing in turn depends upon your pellet quality as well as regular cleaning. A
special brush is delivered with the stove for servicing purposes. Soot is a strong insulator:
stoves without servicing dissipate lesser heat towards the outside or into the heat
exchanger and the level of efficiency sinks with time. After servicing, the energy is then
optimally used and you save heating costs and also help in conserving the environment.
Caution / Danger:
Stoves that are not serviced according to our specifications may not be operated. All
warranty claims expire upon non-compliance.
Prior to servicing, complete cleaning of the burn pot, the pot holder and the firebox is
necessary (see cleaning section 6).
Only then can the actual servicing be performed.
Servicing consists of the following chores:
• Cleaning of the fuel gas draught components
• Cleaning of the flue gas blower + chimney connection component
• Check of the combustion air pipe
• Cleaning of the electric components / contacts
• Cleaning of the convection air pipes
• Cleaning of the pellet chute
• Completion of the works, trial run and service reset
