Disabling Event Rules
In some cases, there may be events that are either not applicable to your system or unnecessary. Events
are disabled from the Monitor page. When an event is disabled, the event is not monitored and
information is not stored for the event.

To disable event rules:
1. Go to Rule Management | Monitoring.
2. Select a rule from the list. Hovering over the information icon displays a description of
the selected event and the event’s parameters.
3. Click Disable to stop the Monitor from collecting and reporting information relevant to
this event type.
This event type is no longer monitored.
