Disabling Event Rules<br />

In some cases, there may be events that are either not applicable to your system or unnecessary. Events<br />

are disabled from the Monitor page. When an event is disabled, the event is not monitored and<br />

information is not stored for the event.<br />

To disable event rules:<br />

1. Go to Rule Management | Monitoring.<br />

2. Select a rule from the list. Hovering over the information icon displays a description of<br />

the selected event and the event’s parameters.<br />

3. Click Disable to stop the Monitor from collecting and reporting information relevant to<br />

this event type.<br />

This event type is no longer monitored.
