To Activate a Rule<br />

The following procedure describes how to activate a rule. By default, all rules are set with predefined<br />

conditions. As long as the Monitor component is running, theses rules will be active and events will be<br />

generated based on the pre-defined parameters in each rule. A disabled rule will appear "grayed-out" but<br />

you can still edit<br />

To activate a rule:<br />

1. In Rule Management | Monitoring select the rule or rules that are "grayed-out" and at<br />

the bottom of the page in the drop-down list, choose the option "Enable Rules".<br />

2. Click to save.<br />

3. To apply the changes click .<br />

The rule will now start generating Events based on the rule's settings.
