9.3 Flash bracketing series („FB“)<br />

A series of flash exposures FB (flash bracketing) can be carried out in the TTL<br />

flash modes ( TTL , TTL BL, TTL , TTL BL; see 7.1). A flash bracketing series<br />

consists of three successive flash shots with different flash exposure correction<br />

values:<br />

• The first shot is carried out without correction value.<br />

• The second shot is made with a minus correction.<br />

• The third shot is made with a plus correction.<br />

• After the third shot, the flash bracketing series is automatically deleted.<br />

☞ A flash bracketing series can only occur if the camera supports the setting<br />

of a manual flash exposure correction on the flash unit (see ch. 8<br />

and the camera’s operating instructions)! Otherwise the shots will be<br />

made without correction values!<br />

• Press the button combination „Select“ until<br />

„FB“ flashes in the display.<br />

• Apply the setting desired with the buttons<br />

+ and —. The possible correction values<br />

range from 1/3 to 3 apertures in one-third<br />

aperture increments. The correction value<br />

will always be shown positively.<br />

The setting takes effect immediately.<br />

After about 5 seconds the display stops flashing<br />

and the setting is saved automatically.<br />

For the first shot of a flash bracketing series „FB“ and „A“re shown in the<br />

display. For the second shot „FB“, „B“ and the minus correction values are<br />

displayed. For the third shot „FB“, „C“ and the plus correction values are<br />

displayed. After the third shot, „FB“ is deleted from the display and the flash<br />

bracketing series is deactivated.<br />

☞ It must be reset for another flash bracketing series!<br />

9.4 Auto OFF for the flash unit<br />

The auto OFF for the flash unit can be set so that it occurs after 10 minutes, 1<br />

minute or is deactivated.<br />

Setting procedure<br />

• Press button combination „Select“ until<br />

the symbol flashes.<br />
