Introduction<br />

Thank you very much for purchasing the <strong>Campagnolo</strong> ErgoBrain, the most<br />

sophisticated road-racing bicycle computer ever made. The ErgoBrain offers<br />

some absolutely new functions thanks to the integration with the<br />

Ergopower levers. The ErgoBrain is a real competition computer designed<br />

for athletes' racing and training needs, but very easy and intuitive to use.<br />

This instruction <strong>manual</strong> explains how to use the ErgoBrain. Please read<br />

this <strong>manual</strong> completely, as well as the installation <strong>manual</strong>, and store these<br />

<strong>manual</strong>s in a safe place for future reference.<br />

Danger !<br />

• When riding, always remain aware of your surroundings. Do not<br />

give excessive attention to the data displayed. Maintain your focus<br />

on the road, traffic conditions, obstacles, etc.<br />

• Keep all batteries out of the reach of children. In the event a battery<br />

is swallowed, contact a doctor immediately.<br />

• Keep this device out of the reach of children.<br />

• Always wear a bicycle helmet, bright/reflective clothing, and obey<br />

all traffic symbols, signs and laws when you ride.<br />

Important<br />

• Periodically check the positions and mounting conditions of the<br />

magnet and the speed sensor.<br />

• Do not expose the unit to direct sun light for extended periods of<br />

time.<br />

• Do not disassemble the main unit and sensors.<br />

• Do not apply chemicals (thinner or benzene) to the unit.<br />

• If the contacts on the main unit are shorted, the unit gets initialized<br />

(the same as when AC button is pressed).<br />

• Avoid touching the contacts as it might cause static electricity,<br />

resulting in irregular display.<br />

• Do not use a high-pressure water pump when cleaning Ergopower<br />

lever.<br />
