Titre : Micro Modulateur Acoustique Ultralarge Bande au Profit de la Sécurité FerroviaireFinancement prévu :Cofinancement éventuel : (CNC LAB - Industrial Automation and Robotics – Lb)(Co) Directeur de thèse : Georges NASSARE-mail : gnassar@univ-valenciennes.frCo-directeur de thèse : Nicolas HADDADE-mail : nicolas.haddad@balamand.edu.lbLaboratoire : IEMN – OAE // CNC LabGroupe de recherche : MAMINADescriptif :Le projet de thèse vise l’étude et la conception d’un micro capteur acoustique, couche mince, largebande, ayant la caractéristique d’un modulateur ultrasonore passif en mouvement pendulaire couplé.La perception en temps réel des ondes sera assurée par des écouteurs formant des nœuds, spatialementidentifiés dans un réseau global exploitant les rails (voutes des tunnels) comme guides et/ou supportd’ondes de propagation.Un algorithme de communication inter et intra réseaux (Network Management by Nodes) sur la base duprotocole « Zigbee » sera mis en place afin d’acheminer les informations nécessaires en vue d’uneexploitation en temps réel des grandeurs des ondes émises (séparées ou/et modulées) pour uneéventuelle décision à la fois sur l’état spatiaux-temporel du mobile et sur l’état évolutif del’infrastructure (vieillissement, …) et les événements mécaniques occasionnels qui peuvent se produire(problèmes des freins, corps étranger, …).L’analyse avancée des informations reçues par les différents capteurs (réseau) sera assurée par unmodule de traitement de l’information dédié à cette application. Les algorithmes nécessaires font appel,à l'entrée de l'organe d'analyses, à des observations identifiées et synchronisées (ou étiquetées dans letemps). Elles seront fournies part un système de communications sans fil permettant la diffusion desinformations délivrés par les différents capteurs.Abstract :The PhD project aims to study and design of a thin micro acoustic sensor, broadband, having thecharacteristic of a passive ultrasonic modulator under a coupled pendulum motion. Perception in-realtime the wave will be provided through headphones (resonators) forming nodes spatially identified in aglobal network operator tracks as guides and support wave propagation.On top of the above infrastructure of acoustic/ultrasonic sensors, we will overlay a network of RFtransceivers to relay the captured electrical signals to a base station for signal processing and analysis.It looks like the best alternative at this point would be to use the Zigbee technology mainly for its lowpower consumption, robustness in industrial environments and attractive connectivity features. Thistechnology allows packets hopping from one node to the next along the railways.15
