Le sujet de thèse proposé concerne l’étude de microdispositifsde localisation applicables aux réseaux de capteurs. L’objectif est de mettre en œuvre unesolution dans la bande de fréquences millimétriques (60 GHz) basée sur des éléments rayonnants trèsspécifiques qui permettent de minimiser l’encombrement global (< 10 mm²) d’une part et de laconsommation énergétique d’autre part en relaxant les contraintes sur la fréquence d’échantillonnage.Il s’agit donc de développer une l’architecture RF et un algorithme de traitement de signal optimal afinde proposer de nouveaux indicateurs permettant une estimation fiable de la distance radiale et de ladirection d’arrivée en milieu intra-bâtiments. Les défis à relever sont nombreux parmi lesquels :- assurer le fonctionnement d’un tel système dans un environnement multi-sources.- présenter un temps d’acquisition faible (< 100 ms).La solution optimale attendue pourra être implémentée à l’aide des ressources de la plate-formeTelecom.Abstract :The geo-localisation systems become more and more convenient for a growing number of applications.Nevertheless, current systems not enable to assume localisation functionalities using a compact and lowconsumption system.This thesis deals with the study and achievement of a localisation solution in the millimetre wavefrequency band (60 GHz) using specific antennas in order to optimize the system compactness andenergy efficiency.RF architecture and signal processing will be studied in order to provide novel indicators which enablea reliable estimation of the radial distance and the angle of arrival in an indoor environment. They haveto meet several challenges such as multi-targets ability and high-speed acquisition. The system will betested using the Telecom platform facilities.53
