Standard instruments give informations only at the micrometer scale, while nearfieldallows to image at the nanometer scale in theory.The goal of this thesis is to develop and improve such a near-field THz microscope. This developmentwill concern sources, probes and detectors. The important parameters that will be improved will be thesignal/noise ratio and the tunability. Demonstrations will be done on typical samples. This work willneed simulations, experimental development and technological steps in clean room.This thesis will be done in the framework of the Equipex EXCELSIOR platform.92
