of powder snow! During the summer months you can experience the Zillertal steam

Gerlos Alpenstraße | Gerlos Alpine Road
Die Gerlos Alpenstraße ist ganzjährig befahrbar und bietet eine traumhafte
Fahrt über den Gerlospass, den Verbindungsweg zwischen Tirol
und Salzburg. Genießen Sie die herrliche Landschaft der Hochmoore
(Naturschutzgebiet) auf der Passhöhe, bestaunen Sie die interessanten
Schautafeln an der Hangbrücke und den grandiosen Ausblick zu den
Krimmler Wasserfällen und ins Krimmler Achental.

The Gerlos Alpine Road is passable all year round and offers a fantastic ride over the
Gerlos Pass, the connecting route between Tyrol and Salzburg. Enjoy the magnificent
landscape of the high moors (nature reserve) at the top of the pass, marvel at the
interesting display boards at the slope bridge and the magnificent view of the Krimml
Waterfalls and the Krimml Achen Valley.

Schlegeis Alpenstraße | Schlegeis Alpine Road
Auf der rund dreizehn Kilometer langen Schlegeis Alpenstraße gelangen
Sie hoch hinaus in die Zillertaler Bergwelt. Erleben Sie eine spannende
Fahrt, vorbei an Wasserfällen, durch Natursteintunnels und mit schönen
Ausblicken. Rund um den Stausee laden zahlreiche Wanderwege und
Hütten zum Genießen und Verweilen ein.

Mai, Juni, Sept., Okt., täglich von 7:00 bis 18:00 Uhr
Juli/August täglich von 6:00 bis 18:00 Uhr

Staumauerführung: Führungen in das Innere der 725 m langen Schlegeis Staumauer

The approximately thirteen-kilometer-long Schlegeis Alpine Road takes you high up
into the Zillertal mountains. Experience an exciting ride past waterfalls, through
natural stone tunnels and with beautiful views. Around the reservoir, numerous hiking
trails and huts invite you to enjoy and linger.
Schlegeis Alpine Road opening hours: 17 May - 27 October 2024
May, June, Sept, Oct, daily from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
July/August daily from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m
Onlineticket: Select the day you would like to visit the Schlegeis reservoir and reserve

Dam wall tour: guided tours into the interior of the 725 m long Schlegeis dam take
place daily. Information and registration in the barrier keeper's house next to the dam.
