Barbarakapelle | Barbara chapel

Auf dem Gelände des ehemaligen Magnesitwerkes bei der Schrofenalm oberhalb von Tux-
Vorderlanersbach, befindet sich die Barbarakapelle. Das eindrucksvolle Fresko an der
Eingangswand ist von Max Weiler.
The Barbara chapel is located in the area of a former magnesite mine nearby the
Schrofenalm pasture, above from Tux-Vorderlanersbach. The precious fresco painting
next to the entrance was made by Max Weiler.

Ein schönes Ausflugs- und zugleich auch Wander & Mountainbikeziel ist die
Jausenstation „Stoankasern“ in einem wildromantischen Almhochtal auf 1.984 m.
Von Mitte Juni bis Ende September kann man hier täglich zusehen, wie Milch zu Butter
und Käse verarbeitet wird.
A beautiful excursion and at the same time hiking destination is the "Stoankasern"
hut in a wild and romantic alpine high valley at 1,984 m. From mid-June to the end
of September you can watch how milk is processed into butter and cheese every day.

Das Alte Jöchlhaus in Madseit ist rund 600 Jahre alt und damit eines der
ältesten Bauernhäuser in Nordtirol. Bis zum heutigen Tag ist es ununterbrochen
bewohnt. Aktuelle Information bzgl. Ausstellungen und Aktivitäten
- erhältlich in den Büros vom Tourismusverband Tux-Finkenberg sowie auf
der Website.
Öffnungszeiten: Die Ausstellung im Alten Jöchl Haus ist auf Anfrage geöffnet.
Eintritt: EUR 8,00; Kinder in Begleitung der Eltern frei! Gruppen ab 10 Pers. auf Anfrage!
The Old Jöchlhaus in Madseit is around 600 years old and is therefore one of the oldest
farmhouses in North Tyrol. Up to the present day it has been inhabited without interruption.

in the Old Jöchl House is open on request. Admission: EUR 8,00; children accompanied
by their parents free of charge! Groups from 10 pers. on request!
Das Mehlerhaus in Madseit | The Mehlerhaus in Madseit

Das Mehlerhaus aus dem 17. Jahrhundert wurde 1999 von der Gemeinde
Tux renoviert und ist für Besucher zugänglich. In dem Haus, das bis
1992 bewohnt war, können die schönen alten Holzstuben und die Küche
als Mittelpunkt der ehemals bäuerlichen Wohnkultur besichtigt werden.
Aktuelle Information bzgl. Ausstellungen, Veranstaltungen sowie Öffnungszeiten -
erhältlich in den Büros vom Tourismusverband Tux-Finkenberg sowie auf der Website.

The 17th century Mehlerhaus was renovated in 1999 by the municipality of Tux and is
open to visitors. In the house, which was inhabited until 1992, the beautiful old wooden
parlours and the kitchen as the centre of the former rural living culture can be visited.

Granatkapelle am Penken | Garnet Chapel at the Penken
Finkenberg:
Die Granatkapelle liegt auf 2.087 m am Sonnenplateau des Penkenjochs
– direkt am Speichersee - mit einem der schönsten Ausblicke auf die
Zillertaler Bergwelt. Von der Bergstation der Finkenberger Almbahnen ist
die Granatkapelle in rund 10 Minuten Gehzeit gemütlich für jedermann
erreichbar.
The Garnet Chapel is located at 2,087 m on the sunny plateau of the Penkenjoch - directly
at the reservoir - with one of the most beautiful views of the Zillertal mountains. From the
mountain station of the Finkenberger Almbahnen, the Garnet chapel can be comfortably
reached by everyone in about 10 minutes walking time.
Naturdenkmal „Alte Linde“ und „Alte Buche“
Nature Treasures „Old Limetree“ & „Old Beechtree“
Finkenberg:
Das Naturdenkmal „Alte Buche“ liegt im Ortsteil Persal. Diese wurde in 1929 als
Naturdenkmal betitelt und ist eine der ältesten noch bestehenden Unterschutzstellungen
von Naturdenkmälern in Tirol. Das Naturdenkmal „Alte Linde“ befindet sich im Ortsteil
Dorf bei der Herz-Jesu Kapelle.
The natural monument "Alte Buche" is located in the Persal district. This was titled in
1929 as such and is one of the oldest still existing protection of natural monuments
in Tyrol. The natural monument "Alte Linde" is located in the district Dorf near the
Herz-Jesu chapel.
