The Geiger family celebrates a great
jubilee: their family business, Keleti
Horgászbolt (Eastern Fishing Shop)
was opened one year short of a
quarter of a century ago on the corner
of Bethlen and Garay Street, just a
few minutes’ walk from the Eastern
Railway Station.
Viktória Geiger, the owner said they
always had homey atmosphere in
the shop, they pay great attention
to this. This retail shop preserves
its popularity thanking to the wide
variety of pure fishing baits. Starting
from the children’s fishing rods to the
most modern ones everything is on sale
there.
„It was a determining experience for
me to go fishing with my father.” –
said Viktória who belongs to the
fishermen’s community even today.
However, according to her she always
drops back the fish she has caught.
