Siamo alla fine dell’estate 1989, nei
Sudeti, dove il nostro protagonista
Alois Nebel lavora come capostazio‑
ne nel piccolo scalo ferroviario di Bílý
Potok, un remoto villaggio vicino al
confine con la Polonia. Essendo un
solitario, Nebel riesce a trovare la
tranquillità che cerca nella stazione,
tranne quando cala la nebbia.

summer 1989, in the Sudetes, where
our protagonist Alois Nebel works as
a stationmaster at the station of Bílý
Potok, a remote village close to the
polish border. Being a loner, Nebel
finds the peace and quiet he desires
in the station, except when the fog
appears.
Then he gets hallucinations, he sees
trains from a hundred years ago crossing
