Na razstavi se predstavljajo ustvarjalci <strong>idrijske</strong> <strong>čipke</strong> iz ožjega območja obč<strong>in</strong>e Idrija<br />
v sodelovanju s slovenskimi oblikovalci. Namen razstave je širši javnosti predstaviti<br />
klekljan nakit kot <strong>po</strong>memben segment <strong>idrijske</strong> čipkarske ustvarjalnosti. Poudariti<br />
želimo dragocenost teh izdelkov, ki se zaradi vloženih ur zahtevnega ročnega dela <strong>in</strong><br />
oblikovalske dodane vrednosti zlahka <strong>po</strong>stavlja ob bok nakitu iz žlahtnih materialov.<br />
Izhodišče vseh izdelkov na razstavi je nit, iz katere šele domišljija oblikovalca <strong>in</strong> znanje<br />
ter spretnost klekljarice ustvarijo male tekstilne mojstrov<strong>in</strong>e.<br />

– EXHIBITION OF CREATIONS FROM THE FASHION SPECTACLE OF IDRIJA LACE<br />

The exhibition features Idrian lace creators from the Idrija Municipality who cooperated<br />
with Slovenian designers. Its pur<strong>po</strong>se is to present to a wider public the lace jewellery<br />
as an im<strong>po</strong>rtant segment of the Idrian lacemak<strong>in</strong>g creativity. We wish to emphasise<br />
how priceless these products are and how the long hours of delicate manual work and<br />
the designer added value make them equal to precious metal jewellery. The start<strong>in</strong>g<br />
<strong>po</strong><strong>in</strong>t of every exhibit piece is the thread. It takes a designer’s imag<strong>in</strong>ation and a<br />
lacemaker’s knowledge and skills to create those small textile masterpieces.<br />
