Anche gli amici di Expo Riva Schuh erano tra i
seimila fan che, domenica 15 giugno, a Palazzo
delle Albere di Trento, hanno applaudito Bob
Dylan.
Con la navetta messa a disposizione dagli organizzatori
della manifestazione, hanno potuto
raggiungere il capoluogo trentino per assistere
alla prima tappa italiana del “Never endig tour”
del menestrello di Duluth. Accompagnato quasi
interamente dalle tastiere, Dylan ha saputo
regalare ai suoi fan due ore di grandi emozioni
intonando con la sua voce graffiante e ruvida
liriche cult come Just like a woman (1966) e
All along the watchman (1968), alternandole
alle canzoni degli ultimi album, tra cui Love
and Theft (2001), Masked and anonymous
(2003) ed il più recente Modern Time (2006.
Primo cantante rock a cui è stato conferito il
Premio Pulitzer (l’8 aprile 2008), protagonista
di una serie di pellicole cinematografiche di
omaggio (tra cui I’m not here di Todd Haynes)
ed autore di un’autobiografia, Chronicles, in
vetta alle classifiche mondiali dei best seller,
Bob Dylan è un artista ancora vitale, come
testimoniano i successi discografici degli ultimi
anni.
Nonostante i suoi ultimi concerti siano sempre
più “seduti”, il pubblico di fan di Trento ha
fatto sentire all’artista il proprio calore, scatenandosi
nei balli e cantando assieme a lui fino
all’ultimo emozionante bis, Like a Rolling
Stones.
Friends of Expo Riva Schuh were among the six
thousand fans who applauded Bob Dylan on
Sunday 25 June at the “Palazzo delle Albere”
in Trento.
With a shuttle bus placed at their disposal by
the organisers of the exhibition, they managed
to reach the Trentino capital to see the first
Italian stage of Bob Dylan’s “Never ending
tour”. Playing almost entirely on the keyboard,
Bob Dylan gave his fans two hours of emotions,
his rough voice singing old favourites like
“Just like a woman” (1966) and “All along the
watchman” (1968), alternating them with the
songs of his latest albums, among which “Love
and Theft” (2001), “Masked and anonymous”
(2003) and the most recent “Modern Times”
(2006).
The first rock star to be awarded the Pulitzer
Prize (8 April 2008), protagonist of a series of
films that pay tribute to him (among which “I’m
not here” by Todd Haynes) and author of an
autobiography, “Chronicles”, at the top of the
world’s bestsellers list, Bob Dylan is still
today a vibrant artist, as is demonstrated by
the success of the past few years.
In spite of his latest concerts being a little
more “sedate”, the fans in Trento showed the
artist great warmth, singing and dancing along
with him right up to the final encore of “Like a
Rolling Stone”.
