Il tutto in un mix all’insegna dell’understatement e della rilassatezza: la tomaia in pelli rovesciate morbide e naturali, la suola lavorata con vera gomma che segue il piede con design funzionale, le texture del battistrada studiate per agevolare la camminata (aggrappo-appoggio-flessione), bilanciando l’equilibrio e esaltando la stabilità. Puntale in vera gomma con logo, che caratterizza la scarpa e allo stesso tempo preserva la tomaia dall’usura del tempo. Bumper updates its old dancing version For the Bumper brand, Andrea Montelpare revisits the legendary “dancing” ballerina pump, light and unstructured in distressed leather, coming in a kaleidoscope of pastel shades that seem machine washed and have a vintage, worn, used, loved look, faded by wind and sun. NEWS New Balance, cosmopolitan Spring-Summer Cosmopolitan look for New Balance’s latest Spring-Summer collection, created from the combined stylistic research of the four style offices (USA, UK, Japan and Italy). A mix of different trends and influences that are expressed in a rich and original collection, which focuses on Vintage Running, both in updated versions of old favourites and in the low profile range with silhouette inspired by lines of the Seventies, Eighties and Nineties, freshened up to become more modern and attractive. The colour chart has a mix of strong and neutral shades with bright and gutsy pop details like green, purple and pale blue. Un mix di tendenze e influssi diversi che si esplicita in una collezione ricca ed originale che punta al Vintage Running, sia con modelli d’archivio rieditati nella versione originale, sia nella linea low profile con silhouette ispirate alle linee anni ’70-’80-’90 ritoccate per diventare più moderne ed accattivanti. La palette colori ha un mix di tonalità neutre e forti, con dettagli pop accesi e grintosi quali il verde, il viola e l’azzurro. 18 Vans off the wall, celebrates its 40th birthday How has the Vans culture changed over the past 40 years The story is told in “Off the wall”, a publication edited by Dough Palaldini (publisher Harry N. Abrams) to celebrate the American brand’s birthday, available in bookshops in Italy from June. Through the stories of the most influential skaters, surfers, street artists and designers like Tony Alva, Joel Tudor, Oliver Peck, Marc Jacobs and others, the book looks back on the multi-generational history of the Californian brand and includes some wonderful shots of the best international photographers of action-sport like Bryce Kanights, Grant Brittain, Jeff Divinem and Trevor Graves. The result is an audacious project that re-evokes the punk look and Californian style, a must have for collectors and fans, starting from its very format: shoes in the appendix and logo embedded in the original theme cover that reproduces the designs of the legendary trainers. The presentation of Vans: Off the wall, held in Milan on 10 June, saw the display of some of the footwear from the archives of collector Unotre. Attraverso le storie dei più influenti skater, surfer, street artist e designer come Tony Alva, Joel Tudor, Oliver Peck, Marc Jacobs e altri, il volume ripercorre la storia multi-generazionale del brand californiano, corredandola dei fantastici scatti dei migliori fotografi internazionali di action-sport come Bryce Kanights, Grant Brittain, Jeff Divinem e Trevor Graves. Il risultato, un progetto coraggioso che rievoca l’estetica punk e lo stile californiano, un must have per i collezionisti ed i fan a cominciare dal suo stesso format: scarpe nell’appendice e logo incastonato nell’originale copertina di tema che riproduce i disegni delle mitiche sneaker. In occasione della presentazione di Vans: Off the wall, lo scorso 10 giugno a Milano, sono state esposte anche alcune scarpe dell’archivio del collezionista Unotre.
