ENGLISHAborting the programming procedure:If after pressing the programming buttonthis is pressed 3 times within 2 seconds,the red LED extinguishes and the programmingprocedure is aborted.Reception:When the receiver receives the transmittingcodes that were programmed on channels1 or 2, the respective sig<strong>na</strong>l output (white =channel 1, yellow = channel 2) becomesactive for 0.5 seconds. During this time, theLED on the receiver glows.8Extending the remote controlset by adding further hand transmittersHS (Fig. 5)ATTENTION!Activation of the learning transmitterduring the learning procedurecould set the door in motionif an appropriately programmedreceiver is located nearby.Note:If the garage does not have a separateentrance, then any programming changesor extensions should be carriedout inside the garage!When programming and extendingthe remote control, make sure thatno persons or objects are within thedoor’s range of travel.1. Hold the transmitter which is to ”teach”the code (teaching transmitter) O a andthe transmitter which is to learn the code(learning transmitter) O b directly alongsideeach other.2. Press and hold the desired button onthe teaching transmitter – the LED onthe teaching transmitter now glowscontinuously.3. Immediately after having done this, pressand hold the button which is to learn onthe learning transmitter – the LED onthe learning transmitter initially flashesslowly for about 4 seconds. It will thenstart flashing rapidly once the learningprocedure has been successfully completed.4. Release the buttons on the teachingtransmitter and the learning transmitter.Test the f<strong>un</strong>ction!If the transmitters do not f<strong>un</strong>ction correctly,repeat steps 1 – 4.Note:The learning procedure will be abortedif you release the button on the learningtransmitter during the slow-flashingphase.9 Restoring the origi<strong>na</strong>l <strong>un</strong>ique codepre-programmed at the factory(Fig. 6)ATTENTION!The following steps are only necessaryin the event of erroneousextension or learning procedures.Note:If the garage does not have a separateentrance, then any programming changesor extensions should be carriedout inside the garage!14 11.2005 TR20A011-B RE
