Con l’edificio terrazzato a nove livelli, progettato e realizzato da Philipp Jakob Manz, Junghans
ha scritto la storia dell’architettura. Per decenni è stato il cuore della nostra produzione di
orologi, poiché qui disponevamo di condizioni di luce ottimali per la delicata operazione di
assemblaggio di movimenti e orologi. Oggi, questo complesso edificio offre il contesto ideale
per ospitare un pezzo di storia dell’orologeria. Allo Junghans Terrassenbau Museum farete
un viaggio nel tempo attraverso l’evoluzione della produzione di orologi nella Foresta Nera
dal Settecento fino a oggi, una storia legata a doppio filo a quella della nostra azienda. Il

Designed and constructed by Philipp Jakob Manz, the Junghans terrace building (Terrassenbau)
covers nine levels and will go down in architectural lore. For decades, this was the centrepiece for
production of our timepieces, providing optimum light conditions for the intricate assembly of
movements and watches. Today, this complex building offers the perfect setting to display a
pivotal period of watch-making history. Join us on a journey through time in the Junghans
Terrassenbau Museum, through the evolution of watch production in the Black Forest from the
18th century until present day. A journey which goes hand in hand with our own company history.
Audio and video stations allow personal interactions to create that special experience during your
