Il museo racconta le vicende dell’Esodo degli Istriani, dei Fiumani e
dei Dalmati, una parte dei quali ha approdato sulle sponde della Laguna
del Calich, trovando in Fertilia il luogo giusto in cui ricostruire la propria
casa. Un Museo che ha lo scopo di “tenere accesa una luce sulla memoria”
e di “riunire i fili della storia” di coloro che sono stati costretti, dalle
vicende storiche che li hanno travolti, a lasciare il luogo in cui sono nati
per trovare un nuovo approdo in cui concludere, liberi, la propria vita.
The museum tells the story of the exodus of the Istrian, the Fiumans
and the Dalmatians, a part of which landed on the shores of the Calich
Lagoon, finding in Fertilia the right place where to rebuild their home. A
museum that has the purpose of “keeping the light on on the memory”
and of “rejoin the threads of the history” of those who were forced, by the
historical events that hit them, to abandon the places they were born in to
find a new haven where to continue, freely, their lives.
Lo museu reconta la història de l’Èxode dels Istrians, dels Fiumans i dels
Dàlmates, una part dels quals és arribada a la vora de l’Estany del Càlic, trobant
a Fertília Io lloc just en lo qual reconstruir la pròpia casa. Un Museu que
té l’escopo de “tendre encesa la llumera de la memòria” i de “reunir los fils
de la història” en los confronts de aquellos que són estats obligats, dels adveniments
històrics que los han envestits, a deixar lo lloc en lo qual són nats
per trobar un nou port en lo qual acabar, llibres, la pròpia vida.
