MARINE PROTECTED AREA • ÀREA MARINA PROTEGIDA
L’Area Marina Protetta Capo Caccia-Isola Piana si estende tra Capo
Galera e Le Gessiere, Ufficialmente stabilita il 20 settembre 2002 con la
firma del decreto del Ministro dell’Ambiente, l’Area Marina Protetta è suddivisa
in tre zone di riserva, di cui solo circa il 5% è Zona A, interdetta alla
pubblica fruizione. Nell’Area Marina è possibile osservare oltre 100 grotte
sommerse, alcune notissime a livello internazionale come Nereo, Falco
e la grotta dei Cervi, e numerose grotte semisommerse recentemente studiate
dall’AMP e visitabili in snorkeling. È inoltre possibile usufruire delle
straordinarie spiagge di Porto Conte.
The Capo Caccia-Isola Piana Marine Protected Area extends between
Capo Caccia and Le Gessiere. Officially established on the 20th September
2002 with the signing of the decree by the Ministry of the Environment,
the Marine Protected Area (MPA) is subdivided into three zones having
different environmental values. Only 5% of the entire extent of the Park is
ranged as A zone and is, therefore, an off-limits zone. In the MPA is possible
to see over a hundred submerged caves, some of this internationally
well-known such as Nereo, Falco, and the Deers’ caves and numerous
semi-submerged caves which can be visited by snorkelers. Is also possible
take advantages of the extraordinary Porto Conte’s beaches.
L’Àrea Marina Protegida de “Cap de la Caça-Ísola Plana” s’estén entre
Cap de Galera i Le Gessiere. Subdividida en tres zones de reserva, de les
quals solament lo 5% és Zona A i, com a tal, prohibida al públic, l’AMP naix
lo 20 de setembre del 2002 amb la firma del decret del Ministre de l’Ambient.
A l’àrea marina és possible observar més de 100 grutes submergides,
algunes assai coneixudes a nivell internacional com Nereo, Falcó i dels
Cervos (Cérvols), numeroses grutes parcialment submergides, recentment
estudiades de l’AMP i visitables en snorkeling , ma també gaudir de
les extraordinàries platges de Port Comte.
