Il Palazzo Spada è l'e<strong>di</strong>ficio romano nel quale ha sede il<br />
Consiglio <strong>di</strong> Stato. Il palazzo fu comprato dal car<strong>di</strong>nale<br />
Bernar<strong>di</strong>no Spada nel 1632. Spada incaricò Francesco<br />
Borromini <strong>di</strong> mo<strong>di</strong>ficarlo secondo i nuovi gusti. Viste al<br />
piano nobile del Palazzo.<br />

Il palazzo è la prima grande opera rinascimentale e civile<br />
mai vista a <strong>Roma</strong>. L’architettura è <strong>di</strong> Leon Battista<br />

Palazzo Spada is the <strong>Roma</strong>n headquarters of the Council<br />
of State. The palace was bought from Car<strong>di</strong>nal Bernar<strong>di</strong>no<br />
Spada in 1632. Spada commissioned Francesco Borromini<br />
to renovate the palace accor<strong>di</strong>ng to contemporary taste.<br />
The first floor is open for visits.<br />
