KARST.) AUDZĒM KURZEMĒ<br />
Atslēgas vārdi: <strong>par</strong>astā egle, tehnogēnais piesārņojums, krājas papildus pieaugums<br />
Tehnogēnais piesārľojums ir viens no vides piesārľojuma veidiem, kas būtiski ietekmē apkārtējo<br />
vidi, tai skaitā arī kokaugus. Vides iedarbības analīzei uz meţu ekosistēmām, ir teorētisks un<br />
praktisks raksturs, jo tādā veidā tiek atsegtas daudzas problēmas. Lai noskaidrotu tehnogēnā<br />
piesārľojuma radītos kaitējumus kokaugiem Kurzemē tika ierīkoti divi <strong>par</strong>auglaukumu transekti,<br />
kas aptver vidēja vecuma un pieaugušas egļu (Picea abies (L.) Karst.) audzes kopskaitā 30<br />
<strong>par</strong>auglaukumos. Datu atlasei tika izmantota Valsts meţa dienesta datu bāze un kartogrāfiskais<br />
materiāls. Katrā no <strong>par</strong>auglaukumiem tika ievākts empīriskais materiāls, kas atspoguļo apkārtējās<br />
vides iedarbību uz kokaugiem. Tālākos aprēķinos izmantots algoritms, kas balstās uz krājas<br />
papildus pieaugumu.<br />

CHANGES OF FLUORESCENCE EMISSION SPECTRUM IN FIRST LEAF<br />
CELLS OF WHEAT SEEDLINGS IN DIFFERENT DEVELOPMENT<br />
STAGES<br />

Several spectroscopic methods have been considered for the characterization of the physiological<br />
state of plants. Among them, the use of the fluorescence signal emitted by a plant has been the<br />
object of intense research activity. Chlorophyll fluorescence is usually excited in the visible <strong>par</strong>t of<br />
the spectrum; a leaf emits also blue-green fluorescence. The emission spectrum depends on plant<br />
species, stage of development, anatomy, and on environmental factors experienced by the plant.<br />
First leaves of wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) seedling were used to determine fluorescence of whole<br />
cells. Fluorescence emission spectrum monitored by fluorescent microscopy using the<br />
spectrometer USB 4000. Fluorescence intensity F490, F 680, F 710, F 740 was determined. Data was<br />
statistically analyzed in ANNOVA. It was found that a significant change of fluorescence spectra<br />
of cells correlate with plant age.<br />

THE EFFECT OF ANTIMYCIN A AS AN INHIBITOR OF CYTOCHROME<br />
ELECTRON TRANSPORT CHAIN ON SOME OXIDATIVE PROCESSES<br />
IN COLEOPTILE AND THE FIRST LEAVES OF ETIOLATED WHEAT<br />
SEEDLINGS (TRITICUM AESTIVUM L.).<br />

Antimycin A is an inhibitor of the cytochrome electron transport chain of mitochondria and<br />
chloroplasts. The effects of antimicyn A on oxidative processes, i.e. the rate of superoxide O2˙ˉ<br />
formation, lipid peroxidation, the electrophoretic activity of the antioxidant enzyme superoxide
