« Art and Build » fait appel à Christophe Spehar pour collaborer à la<br />
conception d’une vision d’ensemble du patio intérieur du Parlement<br />
bruxellois. Christophe Spehar fait appel <strong>au</strong> célèbre botaniste parisien<br />
Patrick Blanc pour les murs végét<strong>au</strong>x. Cette technique tout à fait<br />
particulière permet de végétaliser de manière permanente des surfaces<br />
verticales jusqu’alors complètement inaccessibles <strong>au</strong>x plantes, et<br />
d’intégrer ainsi le végétal dans l’architecture des bâtiments.<br />
Sur les parois du Parlement, l’iris bruxellois s’est taillé une place<br />
de choix <strong>au</strong>x côtés de plantes venues du monde entier: tout un<br />
symbole…<br />

De plantenmuren van het Parlement<br />

“Art and Build” deed een beroep op Christophe Spehar om mee<br />
te werken aan het ontwerp van een totaalvisie <strong>voor</strong> de binnenpatio<br />
van het Brusselse Parlement. Christophe Spehar nam contact op met<br />
de bekende Parijse botanicus Patrick Blanc <strong>voor</strong> de plantenmuren.<br />
Zijn speciale techniek laat toe om verticale vlakken, die tot dan<br />
ontoegankelijk waren <strong>voor</strong> planten, permanent te beplanten en zo<br />
planten te integreren in de architectuur van gebouwen.<br />
Op de wanden van het Parlement kreeg de Brusselse iris een eigen<br />
plaats naast planten van over de hele wereld: een symbool…<br />
