99 OSI Årsberetning 2008MÅLSETTINGER FOR 2009GenereltAfter a first promising semester, we plan to strengthen the club's roots in the Norwegian sport landscape.We want to increase the attractiveness of the club. As a student club, the number of members is subjectedto university semesters. It is thus important to recruit young students, who would like to be involved for along time. We will continue the campaign of advertisement inside UIO and others tertiary educationschools. We will then renew the «Ultimate Workshop» organized by the club in order to advertise the cluband meet together new and experienced players. Further developments of the new website and design of alogo are also planned.From the beginning of 2009, OSI gives us the possibilty to play indoor on Tuesdays from the beginningof 2009 (1/3 of the Hall). Even if the size of the field is too small to play games, we take this opportunityto make technical practices (learning throws, drills...). We will continue to play outdoor on Wednesdaywith more physical practices.IdrettsligThe club has the vocation to be a social place opened to everybody who would like to share this sport.But in the same time we want to provide a challenging environment. We would like to upgrade practiceschedule from 1.5 hours/week to 3 h/w in a row, both outdoor and indoor. Members answered positivelyto this request. This should provide enough time to practice both technically and physically, and to createa good social environment between the members. The club has now contacts with experienced coaches inOslo, who should come at least twice a month to train the team.The club is now member of the “Norges Frisbeeforbund” (NFF).This involves the participation to theNorwegian Cup (3 tournaments a year). Others games or tournaments are also planned in Norway or inScandinavia. Our club will again be in charge of the “Ultimate Workshop” in the beginning of the Fall. Atleast one European tournament is planned: Yellowfever, Pilsen, Czech Republic, March 2009.SosialtReiteration of the workshop at the beginning of the Fall. We plan to maintain as many social events asduring the previous semester.AdministrativtAs a new club, OSI Ultimate can and will apply for a financial support from the NorgesStudentidrettsforbund (NSI).
