kilogram, liter) or their multiples and submultiples. Temperatures in degrees Celsius. Blood pressure in milliliters
of mercury. Abbreviations and symbols should follow international standards. The first time an abbreviation is used,
it should be preceded by the full term or expression, except when it is a common measurement unit.
