Finding the World
O filme relata o processo de constituição e desenvolvimento de
uma associação rural, numa zona isolada do Distrito de Matutuine
no extremo sul de Moçambique. Ilustra-se o caminho de aprendizagem,
capacitação e apropriação que levou a comunidade de
Djabula a passar do isolamento inicial para a identificação dos
problemas comuns e a descoberta de soluções conjuntas no seio
da associação.
Este filme foi filmado pelos técnicos do projecto implementado
pela VIDA, pessoas comuns e sem experiência em realização de
filmagens, sendo, por isso, um filme amador. As imagens ilustram
a participação da comunidade nas diversas actividades de formação,
capacitação e intercâmbio de experiências que determinam a
constituição e consolidação da Associação Pfukani Djabila.

The film describes the process of formation and development of a
rural association in an isolated area of the District of Matutuine in
the extreme south of Mozambique. It illustrates the path of learning,
empowerment and ownership that led the community of Djabula
to move from an initial isolation to the identification of common
problems and finding joint solutions within the association.
This film was shot by the technicians of the project implemented
by VIDA, ordinary people with no experience in directing and
shooting, and therefore it is an amateur film. The images illustrate
the community’s participation in several teaching activities;
training and exchange of experiences witch determine the formation
and consolidation of the Pfukani Djabila Association.
