Life for a Child<br />
“Life for a Child” segue os percursos <strong>de</strong> crianças com diabetes<br />
tipo - 1 entre as montanhas ver<strong>de</strong>jantes e as ruas populosas do Nepal,<br />
um dos países mais pobres do mundo. Através <strong>de</strong> seus olhos<br />
e por palavras suas, acompanhamos o seu esforço <strong>de</strong> vida-e-morte<br />
para sobreviver - e, <strong>de</strong> facto, para prosperar através da medicação,<br />
dos cuidados e da esperança fornecidos pelo Programa “Life for a<br />

“Life for a Child” follows the journeys of children with type 1 diabetes<br />
amid the verdant mountains and swarming streets of Nepal,<br />
one of the world’s poorest countries. Through their eyes and in<br />
their words, we experience their life-and-<strong>de</strong>ath struggle to survive<br />
– and, in fact, even thrive through the medicines, care and hope<br />
provi<strong>de</strong>d by the International Diabetes Fe<strong>de</strong>ration’s (IDF) Life<br />

He recently directed Harmony Korine´s script “Ken Park”. And other<br />
directing credits inclu<strong>de</strong> “Songs for Drella”, an homage to Andy Warhol<br />
with the music of Lou Reed and John Cale, “Reort from Hollywwood” a<br />
portrait of Wim Wen<strong>de</strong>rs. “Tokyo/Ga” with Wim Wen<strong>de</strong>rs, Get your Kicks<br />
