Fundação Jardim <strong>Zoológico</strong> <strong>de</strong><br />

Brasília (FJZB) programou diversas<br />

ativida<strong>de</strong>s visando promover educação<br />

ambiental, conservação da<br />

biodiversida<strong>de</strong> e o engajamento<br />

entre os participantes.<br />

Oficinas <strong>de</strong> Reflorestamento, <strong>de</strong><br />

<strong>de</strong>senhos e doações <strong>de</strong> mudas<br />

<strong>de</strong> Ipê, árvore nativa do Cerrado,<br />

foram algumas das ativida<strong>de</strong>s ofertadas<br />

para alunos e grupos, com<br />

ida<strong>de</strong> entre 7 e 40 anos, que vieram<br />

<strong>de</strong> várias escolas e entida<strong>de</strong>s do<br />

Distrito Fe<strong>de</strong>ral.<br />

Eles pu<strong>de</strong>ram conhecer alguns<br />

objetos utilizados por <strong>de</strong>ficientes<br />

visuais, através da Exposição<br />

<strong>de</strong> Tecnologias Assistidas, que<br />

foi oferecida pelo Instituto<br />

Blind Brasil. O responsável pela<br />

exposição e também diretor do<br />

Instituto, Charles Jatobá, mostrou<br />

algumas calculadoras, telefones e<br />

<strong>de</strong>spertadores com sonorida<strong>de</strong>, o<br />

Soroban (instrumento <strong>de</strong> cálculo),<br />

smartphones, máquina <strong>de</strong> escrever<br />

em Braille, <strong>de</strong>ntre outros objetos.<br />

Além disso, os participantes<br />

aimed at promoting environmental<br />

education, biodiversity conservation<br />

and engagement among the<br />

participants.<br />

Some of the activities offered<br />

were workshops about<br />

Reforestation and drawing and<br />

donations of seedlings of Ipê, a<br />

tree native to the Cerrado, and<br />

the target audience were stu<strong>de</strong>nts<br />

and groups, aged between 7 and<br />

40 years, who came from various<br />

schools and entities of the Fe<strong>de</strong>ral<br />

District.<br />

They were able to meet some<br />

objects used by the visually<br />

impaired through the Assisted<br />

Technologies Exhibition, which<br />

was offered by the Blind Brazil<br />

Institute. The director of the<br />

exhibition and also director of the<br />

Institute, Charles Jatobá, showed<br />

some calculators, telephones and<br />

alarm clocks with sonority, the<br />

Soroban (calculation instrument),<br />

smartphones, typewriter in Braille,<br />

among other objects.<br />
