Parcerias<br />
O Hospital Veterinário do<br />
<strong>Zoológico</strong> <strong>de</strong> Brasília existe <strong>de</strong>s<strong>de</strong><br />
1979 e é composto por três médicos<br />
veterinários, três tratadores<br />
<strong>de</strong> animais e cinco resi<strong>de</strong>ntes da<br />
Universida<strong>de</strong> <strong>de</strong> Brasília (UnB).<br />
Através <strong>de</strong> projetos <strong>de</strong> pesquisa,<br />
a FJZB mantém parceria com algumas<br />
universida<strong>de</strong>s, centros clínicos<br />
e órgãos ambientais. Graças aos<br />
parceiros, os animais recebem<br />
tratamentos eficazes, como por<br />
exemplo, acupuntura e o uso <strong>de</strong><br />
mocha. Só neste ano, 11 animais<br />
do plantel fizeram tratamento com<br />
acupuntura.<br />
Partnerships<br />
The Veterinary Hospital of Zoo<br />
Brasília has existed since 1979 and<br />
is composed of three veterinarians,<br />
three zookeepers and five resi<strong>de</strong>nts<br />
of the University of Brasília (UnB).<br />
Through research projects, the<br />
Zoo maintains partnerships with<br />
some universities, clinical centers<br />
and environmental agencies. Due<br />
to these partners, the animals<br />
receive various treatments, such<br />
as acupuncture and the use of<br />
mocha. Only in 2016, 11 animals<br />
in the collection were treated with<br />
acupuncture.<br />
