poucos esperamos que volte a se estabilizar. Para
isso, claro, trabalhamos continuamente em sinergia
com fornecedores, fabricantes e o setor público, por
meio de reuniões, comitês e negociações na busca
por soluções tanto para o fornecimento quanto para
a precificação. Um exemplo é o Comitê do Aço.
Enquanto ainda enfrentamos escassez de matérias-
-primas e preços por vezes inviáveis no mercado
nacional, a importação desses materiais continua se
fazendo necessária, claro. Acreditamos, no entanto,
que olhar cada vez mais para a indústria nacional,
buscando alternativas de fornecimento no mercado
doméstico, seja um caminho essencial para o fortalecimento
e autonomia das empresas brasileiras.
Pensando em formas de criar oportunidades de
negócios e conectar os diferentes elos da cadeia
produtiva no Brasil, portanto, a ABIMÓVEL idealizou
o Projeto Fornecedor. A edição piloto ocorreu no
início de abril em conjunto com a Abit, Assintecal
e o CICB, reunindo cerca de 40 empresas, entre
compradores e fornecedores nacionais em uma plataforma
digital. Os resultados e a repercussão foram
bastante positivos, levando-nos a estabelecer o projeto
em nosso cronograma de ações, com a próxima
edição já estando sendo planejada, ainda maior e
envolvendo outros segmentos também importantes
da cadeia do mobiliário.

It is worth mentioning, this whole process, which
occurred worldwide in all production chains, caused an
avalanche of increase in the prices for these materials.
Among the furniture and mattress industries, the most
significant problems were in the supply of hardware,
glass, wood panels such as MDF and MDP, cardboard,
plastic, steel, and foams, among other essential items.
Therefore, many companies had to reduce the pace
of activity due to the lack of raw material supply, which
we hope will stabilize. For this, of course, we work continuously
in synergy with suppliers, manufacturers, and
the Public Sector, through meetings, committees, and
negotiations to search for solutions for both supply and
pricing. One example is the Steel Committee.
While we still face shortages of raw materials with
prices sometimes unviable in the domestic market,
importing these materials continues to be necessary, of
course. However, we believe that looking increasingly
at the Brazilian industry, seeking alternatives for supply
in the domestic market is an essential path for the
strengthening and autonomy of Brazilian companies.
Therefore, when thinking about ways to create business
opportunities and connect the different links in the
production chain in Brazil, ABIMÓVEL came up with
the Supplier Project. In early April, the pilot meeting
took place in conjunction with Abit, Assintecal, and
CICB, bringing together about 40 companies, including
national buyers and suppliers, on a digital platform.
The results and the repercussion were very positive,
leading us to establish the project in our plan of action.
The next meeting is already being planned, even more
extensive, involving other important furniture chain
segments.
