A FORMA COMO OS
PRODUTORES E
IMPORTADORES SE RELACIONAM
ESTÁ MUDANDO. NO INÍCIO, AS
VISITAS E RELACIONAMENTOS
PESSOAIS ERAM INDISPENSÁVEIS.
AGORA, A AGILIDADE DE
PAGAMENTO, ATENDIMENTO E
CLAREZA NAS OPERAÇÕES SÃO
MAIS IMPORTANTES
GUSTAVO MILAZZO, CEO E
outras etapas do processo.
do material e do acompanhamento do container, até o
transparência do processo.
“The way producers and importers relate is changing. In
the beginning, visits and personal relationships were indispensable.
Now, the agility of payment, service, and clarity in
operations are more important,” assures Gustavo Scabello
Milazzo, Chief Executive and Founder of WoodFlow. “In this
scenario, we are developing WoodFlow, connecting suppliers
in Brazil directly with importers abroad, with greater clarity,
transparency, and agility in the whole process,” explains
Milazzo, who has experience in the area of export of forest
products for about 25 years.
HOW IT WORKS
The WoodFlow system is open for importers to use. For
Brazilian suppliers, it is possible to pre-register on the site,
and then the Platform team contacts them to complete the
other stages of the process. Currently, the service is entirely
free for suppliers and importers.
Using the Platform, the importer can see the status of the
placed order: if it is in production, delayed, or shipped. The
system also concentrates all the shipping documents, photos
of the material, and monitoring of the container to its final
destination. This gives the importer access to details of what
they bought from anywhere in the world. For Milazzo, the
system is constantly being adjusted. Also, the functionality
of the importer searching for products and manufacturers
is all ready to be launched. “Through the registration of the
Brazilian supplier, we were able to maintain a regularity in
sending offers and information to current customers through
various channels, thus facilitating the repurchase, as well as
constantly seeking out new buyers,” explains the WoodFlow
Chief Executive about the functionality of the system.
The WoodFlow website has photos of the products with
specifications and videos of factories and companies where it
is possible to know the entire process of the producer, which
provides more transparency of the process.
