Invitations will be addressed for the staff of the WEC Member Committees in Central and Eastern Europe – about<br />

20 committees:<br />

Date of arrival in Romania – 18.03.2013; Departure from Romania – 21.03.2013.<br />

The venue where the regional Meeting takes place and where the delegates are accommodated–Caro Hotel<br />

Bucharest. WEC/Roman<strong>ian</strong> National Committee will cover the costs of accommodation for 3 nights, <strong>me</strong>als,<br />

internal transport in Romania . WEC/Roman<strong>ian</strong> National Committee organizes a dinner on 18 March evening, at<br />

Caro Restaurant<br />

„Evaluation of Policies and Practices used by WEC Member Committees in Central and<br />

Eastern Europe”, na<strong>me</strong>ly:<br />

Critical energy issues at regional level, which are reflected in the following areas:<br />

-Access to energy<br />

-Survey of Energy Resources and Technologies<br />

-Energy efficiency<br />

-Energy and Electric transport<br />

-Energy and Urban Innovation<br />

-Human resources<br />

-Global initiative on electricity<br />

Issues that lead to the improve<strong>me</strong>nt of the relations among the WEC <strong>me</strong>mber committees in the<br />

-Facilitate partnerships<br />

-Improve<strong>me</strong>nt of the websites acting as communication committees<br />

-Global partners - identifying and increasing their numbers<br />

-Actions for increasing the number of individual and corporate <strong>me</strong>mbers<br />

-Promoting DAEGU 2013 World Energy Congress<br />

-Joint organization of events related to the WEC Global Studies Program<strong>me</strong><br />

-Developing <strong>me</strong>dia relations in the region, including identification of major the<strong>me</strong>s<br />

Second day – 20.03.2013 – Matters for Discussion and Decisions<br />

FOREN 2014 – Establishing the the<strong>me</strong>s for the Forum Important Events and establishing the<br />

tasks of the WEC Member Committees for a good organization of the Forum on:<br />

-Participants from each <strong>me</strong>mber committee<br />

-VIPs for the 3 Important Events: The Opening Ceremony, Regional Energy Day and Policy Trilemma<br />

-Speakers for the rest of Important Events<br />

-Establishing the FOREN 2014 International Organizing Committee<br />

-FOREN 2014 papers of each <strong>me</strong>mber committee<br />

-Media coverage for FOREN 2014 in March 2013 - June 2014 by each <strong>me</strong>mber committee in its country<br />
