Same warm pub lights<br />

Smokey air,<br />
Murmurs rise.<br />
Wet city streets<br />
Reflect the sights,<br />
Sleeping bags in doorways<br />
On rainy Dublin nights.<br />
Emigrant reîntors<br />
Iarăşi nou,<br />
Totuşi vechi.<br />
Aceleaşi zâmbete,<br />
Aceeaşi briză rece<br />
Învineţind colţurile<br />
Un<strong>de</strong> se-ntâlnesc iubiţii.<br />
Aceleaşi lumini cal<strong>de</strong> <strong>de</strong> pub<br />
Cheamă şi promit prietenie-năuntru.<br />
Aer plin <strong>de</strong> fum,<br />
Se aud murmure.<br />
Străzi <strong>de</strong> oraş u<strong>de</strong><br />
Reflectă priveliştile,<br />
