BİLDİRİLER
ABSTRACT
In this study samples were investigated belonging to the genus Troglohyphantes collected during
2010 from Hacı Akif Cave (Konya, Beyşehir, Lake Beyşehir, Hacı Akif island). A total of 10 specimens
(3, 5 and 2 sub adults) collected from cave environment by using hand aspirators were fixed in 70%
ethanol and transfered to the laboratory. Genital organs determining the taxonomical situation of the
specimens (palps for males, epigyn for females) were examined under Leica S8AP0 stereo microscope
mounted with Leica DFC295. Before this procedure female epigyns were dissected from abdomen
by using dissecting needles and were treated with lactic acid for removal of soft tissues. Habitus and
genitalia photographs were taken inside petri plates filled with paraffine at the bottom and software
“CombineZM” was used to get high quality photographs.
By considering all structural and descriptive characteristics of our Troglohyphantes specimens,
it is concluded that they belong to the species T. pisidicus Brignoli, 1971, which was collected and described
only via female, by the Italian Arachnologist “Paolo Marcello Brignoli” from the same cave at
1971. Among our specimens, description of the male carried out for the first time and re description
of the female has been performed. Moreover, structural and descriptive characteristics of T. pisidicus
Brignoli, 1971 were compared with Troglohyphantes karolianus Topçu, Türkes & Seyyar, 2008 which
was described from the close vicinity (İnönü Cave, Kurucaova) at 2008.
