executed by business partner organizations that are contracted by faculty for this purpose. The
projects have to be service or service system oriented. Business partners support the training
of their possible future employees, to be useful in practical situations, in this way. The interim
project which is performed in a business partner organization together with master thesis-the
assignment of which arises from cooperation with business partner, too-both together take 30
percent of the whole studying program. ¨
Followingdetailsconcerningtheinterimprojectareimportant:Businessoriented(PA180)
or more research oriented alternative (PA185,PA186) of interim project can be chosen. The
student is obliged to obtain all 15 credits for interim project (plus 1cr. per colloquium which
is mandatory) from one partner. The 15 ECTS could be obtained by several ways: (1) during
one semester, i.e. 5 month, (recommended) work by chosen business partner 4 days in a week
(with one day for technical report writing and consultations with faculty guarantor), or (2)
cumulative earning of the 15 ECTS in two semesters; the work for partner is then 2 or 3 days
per week.
The graduates can enter junior manager positions or they acquit themselves well in design
and development of service systems or they assert themselves in positions requiring smart
orientation in a problem together with wide view not only in ICT domain.
The field of study requirements will be accomplished by
• Going through mandatory and mandatory elective courses of the field of study with
prescribed completion,
• Accomplishment of other obligations determined by the study program.

• PA181 Services - Systems, Modeling and Execution (5+1 kr.)
• PA116 Domain Understanding and Modeling (4+2 kr.)

• PA179 Project Management and Service Lifecycle (4+2 kr.)
