The establishment of cooperation between public and private sectors aimed at achieving<br />

commoninterestsofhigherlevelisacrucialfactorfordevelopmentofecoandruraltourism,as<br />

wellasforthedevelopmentoftourismingeneral.<br />

2.4.4Sourcesoffinancingandelementsofincentiveprograms<br />

Exploringsourcesoffundingthatarepresentedinthissectionisextremelyimportantfor<br />

implementationofeachproject.Dependingontheareawherefinancialresourcesaretobe<br />

spent and the external sources of funding that are related to foreign institutions or<br />

organizations,fundingcanbedividedintolocal,regionalandnational.<br />

Localsourcesrefertofinancingbylocalselfgovernmentunitss(municipalitiesandcities),while<br />

regionalsourcesarerelatedtotheinstitutionsoftheCounty(County,DevelopmentAgencies,<br />

etc.).NationalsourcesoffinancingarerelatedtofundingprovidedbyrelevantMinistriesofthe<br />

Republicof<strong>Croatia</strong>andotherinstitutionsthatoperateatthenationallevel,andexternalsources<br />

offundingarerelatedtothefundsallocatedbytheinternationalinstitutions.<br />

Inordertoencouragetherealizationofthestrategyofdevelopment,thispartofthedocument<br />

providestheproposaloftheincentiveprogramthatwouldcovertheprojectideasidentified<br />

withintheCOASTproject.<br />

Theincentiveprogramshouldbebasedonspecificprogramsandstrategiesofhigherorder.Itis<br />

necessarytospecifythesedocumentsandtoidentifythegoalsthattherealizationofthis<br />

programofincentiveswillachieve.<br />

implemented;<br />

Thegoalofincentiveprogramistoencouragethedevelopmentofecoandruraltourisminthe<br />

areaofZadarCountythroughactivitiesthatcontributetoachievingthedefinedstrategicgoals<br />

andthedevelopmentmeasuresandactivities.<br />

Accordingly,itisnecessarytodefinethepurposeofincentives,potentialcustomers,conditions<br />

thatshouldbemetforitsformation(whichareinlinewiththegoalsofCOASTprojectandthe<br />

ecostandards),thenecessarydocumentationandthepossiblepartners.<br />
