After the huge success of the World Choir Games 2014 - with 460 international choirs and 27,000 participants from 73 nations the largest World Choir Games ever – choirs from all over the world will again travel to Latvia to celebrate the 3rd European Choir Games and the Grand Prix of Nations Riga 2017. And with its impressive history of passionate singing, Riga is the ideal location for this event. Numerous of pedagogical offers, such as Individual Coachings and Evaluation Performances with well-known conductors complement the colorful concert program of the European Choir Games. Beside the broad range of competition and friendship concerts the participating choirs are invited to join the Festival Stage Choir. Overtone singing<br />
Nordic Voices have over the years developed their skills in overtone singing and in this workshop they invite<br />
you to learn more about it. Members from Nordic Voices will introduce you to different techniques and teach<br />
you different overtone exercises.<br />
To sing overtones and even to learn how to listen for overtones demands a lot of training, but Nordic Voices<br />
hope that after this “crash-course” most of you will have knowledge enough to keep practicing on your own.
