OFICIĀLĀ DZIESMA “CROSSING THE BRIDGES” OFFICIAL SONG “CROSSING THE BRIDGES”
61
krastus. “Tiltiem pāri” ir simboliska vīzija par to, ka tikai kopīgi, panākot
cits citam pretim, mēs spēsim darīt šo pasauli labāku. Šķērsojot tiltu, mēs
iegūstam jaunus draugus, gūstam jaunas atziņas un mācāmies viens no otra,
topot stiprāki un bagātāki.
The idea for the song “Crossing the Bridges” is to tell us about the ability of
people of various nationalities, races, gender and character to get along and to
listen attentively to each other. Everyone shares one world and a lot of problems
that can be solved together. A bridge symbolizes the transition from one bank
to another. But often enough, we each find ourselves on our own bank and we
do not wish to meet. Our fast-paced life swirls like a river between the banks,
but we still find the strength and motivation within us to take a step closer to
each other, regardless of which bank the person comes from and where they
are heading. That’s exactly why we need a common goal which can join our two
banks like a bridge. To cross bridges is a symbolic vision about the fact that only
together, coming closer to each other, will we be able to make this world better.
By crossing the bridge, we gain new friends, reach new conclusions and learn
from each other, becoming stronger and richer.
