All scholarships awarded by Financial<br />
Aid Services require the student have<br />
a current completed Free Application for Federal<br />
Student Aid (FAFSA) on file, preferably before March<br />
1. All students must also complete the 2013-14 OU<br />
Common Scholarship Application, including Financial<br />
Aid, Sooner Heritage, Retention Scholarship and<br />
others, which will become available in January 2013<br />
on oZONE.<br />
Eligibility criteria and scholarship amounts may vary<br />
according to individual scholarship program restrictions<br />
and fund availability.<br />

TYPE: Need<br />
ELIGIBILITY: Students who complete the 2013-14 OU<br />
Common Scholarship Application, including Financial<br />
Aid, Sooner Heritage, Retention Scholarship and<br />
others, and have a current FAFSA on file are considered<br />
for these scholarships. Recipients are selected based<br />
on unmet need, academic merit and enrollment status.<br />
All scholarships are one-time awards. Students may<br />
reapply each year.<br />

Sooner Heritage Scholarship<br />

AMOUNT: $350-$1,500<br />
TYPE: Need<br />
ELIGIBILITY: Sooner Heritage Scholarships are<br />
awarded to selected students from the Norman and OU<br />
Health Sciences Center campuses, as well as students<br />
enrolled in OU-Tulsa programs at the Schusterman<br />
Center. <strong>The</strong> awards will be based on a combination<br />
<strong>of</strong> financial need and enrollment status. Preference<br />
will be given to students from middle-income families.<br />
Students must apply through the 2013-14 OU Common<br />
Scholarship Application, including Financial Aid,<br />
Sooner Heritage, Retention Scholarship and others.<br />
All scholarships are one-time awards. Students may<br />
