JERSEY’S JOURNAL by Jersey Shore
Webster’s defines faggot as a male homosexual,
usually used in a negative content.
It is also it was originally meant “a bundle
of sticks”. In merry old England, a fag is a
cigarette. Either way they both suck.
Jersey defines “Faggot” as a gay man who
cannot be an individual. That large gaggle
of queers who have to follow the pack
because when they received their big
book of homosexuality, and covered every
chapter like Clubbing, the right drugs to
do, being a Leather queen, techno music,
how to ignore the fat queens when crossing
the street, massage lessons (pour oil,
rub, then jack them off) Gym etiquette
(on the machines and in the locker room)
dressing like your 20 years old when you
are 80, How to be a nasty cunt, and How
to be a nasty cunt on social media. I could
go on for days, but I have a show somewhere.
My EX faggot friend, who is realizing he
lost out on a great friend, because even
though I’m a cock sucking queer, I am
NOT a faggot. My friends come before
a big, hard, dick! If I was drowning and
knowing that sucking on this huge meaty
cock would keep me alive, I would choose
my friends. In the long run. A FRIEND
WILL ALWAYS BE THERE and they will
be on dry land!
I did the Leather thing briefly, the techno
thing, all things homosexuals do because
you feel you have to be accepted or to
find your place in the community. Well
community doesn’t mean following the
herd. Community means, in my basic
definition, I’m gay, I like men. PERIOD.
So, support each other because we are all
in this struggle together.
I happen to make a living as a Drag
performer, so does that mean I am a drag
queen? Well, if you label it, sure, but am I
a vicious, back stabbing, thieving, negative,
and bitchy piece of shit? NO, there is
absolutely no reason for that behavior. Be
honored you can do what you enjoy and
drop the attitude, because a HUGE house
will fall on it. Its tornado season and you
are all fucked!
PRAY FOR ORLANDO The official
death toll was released by the city of
Orlando and has the names and ages of the
49 victims who were killed in a nightclub
shooting. Six of the more than 50 wounded
were listed in critical condition Tuesday
and five others were in guarded condition.
We know this because the gay movement
has been successful, not only in changing
laws, but wining allies in the hearts and
minds of many in this nation. While the
LGBT community continues to suffer the
slings and arrows of outrageous biblical
references, it is clear we have so many
more on our side, far more than those seek
to oppress us. I stand proud and happy
because, those that hate us, have clearly
also shown hate for others and that means
their end is near. Because Gay rights are
human rights, as our first woman democratic
nominee has stated internationally,
everyone can understand the comparison.
A new dawn has landed, a new nation is
beginning to see a new reality that is inclusive
and differentiated in a positive way.
You still have to look for it, but it’s there
and it is growing. The notion all gays are
bad, is not any different than all Muslims
are bad, all people of color are criminal.
Consider the notion that gays “pop out” of
all people, white, black, rich or poor, we are
unique in the hate-ism category and the
word gay-ism seems more like a sexy thing.
We are also the shape shifters of that world,
for the most part we can blend straight and
mask our identity to our genders. When we
came out, it was a bigot-al game changer,
replaced only by social networking biggest
function. The Facebook status! “I feel so
happy to be Gay today” followed quickly by
Facebooks worst function the “reply” button.
“Happy? Because I hate you
#Iamtellingeveryone”.
Clearly, Facebook showed what we have
been telling everyone forever! That they
hate us. When no one is looking they call
us fag, disgusting. And BTW it’s not just
us, they do it to YOU too when you’re not
looking, because of your color, your economic
statues, race anything. But they also
bashed us, tied us to a fence and left to die
alone, they make laws to hurt us, they walk
to a bar and shoot us. Remember, gays
pop out of racist and bigots too and worse
homophobes, they carry those notions into
adulthood and they become conflicted,
angry and quite often lost. Sometimes they
become radicalized and then do something
crazy.
When our leaders talk about mental health,
I say, get on that bus, now! Because we are
one crazy lot of people. If we really look
at it are going to need a bigger looney
bin. This world is so crazy it often takes
a level 9 crazy episode before someone
suggests “you need help.” I am not sure
but bomb building and weapon stockpiling
are signs too. Signs for others,
because you have already snapped! The
truth is the troubled person is the least
likely person to determine mental health,
as the homeless person to help them-
year and probably more this year.
Are We Ready for gun control?
According to the
Gun Violence
Archive (GVA), a
nonprofit website that scours more than
1,200 sources to track gun deaths and injuries
in the United States, there have been
more than 50,000 incidents of gun violence
in 2015.
Here are some actual facts, you are free to
draw your own conclusions.
In the prior 72 hours there have been 256
incidents of gun violence
A November ProPublica article noted that
half of American gun death victims are
men of color in “poor, segregated neighborhoods
that have little political clout.”.
For the first time since the wild west, and
the invention of the automobile, firearms
will have equal deaths to automobile deaths
and will become higher by the end of
this year, according to new mortality data
released this month by the Centers for Disease
Control and Prevention (CDC).
In 1824, Thomas Jefferson and James Madison
board members of the University of
Virginia, NIXED the right to bear arms to
its red-brick grounds.
Writing...“No student shall, within the precincts
of the University, introduce, keep or
use any spirituous or vinous liquors, keep
or use weapons or arms of any kind.
No one needs to ban guns,
Remember we don’t have the right to keep
and bear arms because the Bill of Rights
says so, It exist in the Bill of Rights because
the need of that right exists. Gun control
however bans bazooka and weapons of
mass destruction. We must insure the safety
of everyone, from enemies abroad as
well as those that grew up just down the
street.
When a Page VIEW GOES TO 600,000!
The DDG has always had more Internet
coverage then the other local magazines.
However, our readership are mostly older
people that have slowed become more
mobile friendly.
This week the DDG hit over 600,000 single
day hits and 5,000 shares. That means our
name, Desert Daily Guide, has been visualized
by 600,00 individual people online
and 5000 people actual shared our content.
And we do track everything, and anything.
From 318,376 American views to 10,00 bits
8k Canada to 16 Slovenian people. If you
know me, I want to find each Slovenian
and thank them.
Beyond that 42,000 people actually did
something, like “like” the page or post or
clicked the link, or clicked our website.
Less hate too! As for haters, only 61 selected
“Hide this Post” and a mere 11 of 42,000
actually selected “Hide All Posts.“ No one
Reported us as Spam and no one Unlike
d our Page. Tracked by age, and sex and
we found a significant increase in woman
viewers and men over 35. Of the 42,000
people that liked, commented on, or shared
24% were 45 and up with 2% of that over
65 years of age.
For most people thats not very exciting, but
selves, or that bullied kid that just needs to
fight back! The existence of KKK, ISIS and
any other fanatical group maintain a stable
presence combined with gun control issues
and presidential elections are freely debatable
to prove one point. It proves that millions
of insanely troubled people out there.
But help is coming, and a sea change is
happening. One of the major developments
are Gay Alliances and gays in the military
taking hold. Each year thousands of service
men have sensitivity training on racism,
homosexuality and bigotry of all kinds.
People like Thommi Clinton and others are
teaching complicated issues such as gender
bias awareness and a host of related issues
to civic municipalities.
As we learn through all of this, is simply
that all but a small few truly want everyone
to live and peace and happiness. And
we must continue to keep our hearts open
to all we meet and develop reasonable
response to both mental and physical space
of others, without irrational judgment.
While social network can show us at our
worst we can see our best, as we see “my
coming out story” now being told by children
rather then retired men.
THAT IS FUNNY
Whenever your ex says, “You’ll never find someone like me,” the answer to that is, “That’s the point.”
Light travels faster than sound. This is why some people appear bright until you hear them speak.
Did you hear about the two bald guys who put their heads together? They made an ass out of themselves!
A lady comes home from her doctor’s appointment grinning from ear to ear. Her husband asks, “Why are
you so happy?” The wife says, “The doctor told me that for a forty-five year old woman, I have the breasts
of a twenty year old.” “Oh yeah?” quipped her husband, “What did he say about your forty-five year old
ass?” She said, “Your name never came up in the conversation.”
An old teacher asked a student, “If I say, ‘I am beautiful,’ which tense is that?” The student replied, “It is
THE LAST WORD by Greg Pettis
We awoke Sunday to the horrific news of
the Orlando shooting. So much loss of life
and bloodshed for no reason other than a
warped sense of religion
I was encouraged at the statements from
the national conference of Islam condemning
the attack and standing in solidarity
with the LGBT community.
In the absence of the Mayor, I was able to
direct flags in Cathedral City to half staff
early in the morning to honor those who
were killed. Many folks wanted us to hold
a vigil and we were able to direct them to
Palm Springs so there would be one large
event that could adequately remember
the fallen and still be able to provide security.
We had two council members there
as well as our City Manager
Our community has, unfortunately, had
many episodes where we have shown the
world how to unify and come together.
This is the latest. We must show our
strength and our ability to show love and
respect for all people. Blood donations
are still needed and for those here I the
desert, financial contributions can be sent
through crowd source and go fund me
pages
Orlando has openly gay city commissioner,
Patty Sheehan. She is a dear friend
and I know she would appreciate hearing
from you. You can email her at Patty.
Sheehan@cityoforlando.net
I’ll leave my other comments and reports
to next week. For now - We are all Orlando
Greg Pettis is a 22 year city councilman in Cathedral
City. He has made his name in governmental circles
as an expert in transportation issues and is very active
in working on bringing passenger rail service to the
COACHELLA Valley. Greg was the first openly gay
elected city council members In Riverside County. He
has served on the boards of the National League of
Cities and the League of California Cities and as President
of the Southern CA Association of Governments.
