TERMCAT’s online football dictionary Diccionari de futbol adds Italian as its sixth language<br />
TERMCAT offers an update of its online football dictionary, Diccionari del futbol, to journalists,<br />
football players and general audience. The update includes the equivalents in Italian, which<br />
complement the Catalan, Spanish, French, English and German equivalents and the Catalan<br />
definitions that were already available.<br />
The first edition of the dictionary was published on the occasion of the Olympic Games held in<br />
Barcelona in 1992, and it contains 397 terms and is also part of the Diccionari general de l’esport<br />
(“General Dictionary of Sport”), which contains approximately 11,000 terms belonging to more<br />
than eighty sports and which will be published this very same month<br />
