CD-PLAYER<br />
Track search, fast forward and rewind<br />
• Press (47) to go to the beginning of the next track.<br />
• Press (58) to go back to the beginning of the track which is playing. Press twice to go back to the<br />
beginning of the previous track.<br />
• If you press this button for a longer time, the speed will increase. As soon as you let go of the button, the<br />
playback returns to normal speed.<br />
Random play<br />
• Press the RANDOM/M-DN button (56) to play all tracks in a random sequence. RANDOM is shown on the<br />
display (4).<br />
• Switch off the function by pressing the RANDOM/M-DN button again.<br />
Track sample<br />
• You can play a CD track one after the other for 10 seconds long.<br />
• In stop mode press the INTRO/MONO./ST. button (54) to switch the function on. On the display INTRO will<br />
be shown. The first track on the CD will start playing.<br />
• If you press the INTRO/MONO./ST. button during playback, this track sampling begins with the current track<br />
being played.<br />
• Switch the function off by pressing the INTRO/MONO./ST. button again.<br />
Repeat function<br />
• You can set this function during playback of a track or in stop mode.<br />
• Press the REPEAT/M-UP button (57) once in order to repeat the track being played. will be shown on<br />
the display.<br />
• Press the REPEAT/M-UP button twice to replay the entire CD. ALL will be shown on the display.<br />
• Press the REPEAT/M-UP button three times to switch off the function.<br />
Program track playback<br />
• You can program the CD player to play a desired sequence of up to 32 tracks. Press the /BAND<br />
button (48) before beginning programming.<br />
• Press the PROG/MEM/ERASE button (46) to switch to<br />
programming mode. PROGRAM and the program place<br />
PROGRAM<br />
number P:01 will be shown (Fig. 6).<br />
CD<br />
• Select a track with (58) or (47) and confirm your<br />
•<br />
selection with the PROG/MEM/ERASE button.<br />
The next program place number will be shown on the<br />
display. Proceed as above to program other tracks.<br />

• Press (45) in order to begin the playback of the programmed tracks.<br />
• Press the /BAND button (48) to end the program playback. Start the program again by pressing (45).<br />
• To erase this program, press the /BAND button (48) twice. The program will also be erased if you open the<br />
CD door, press the FUNCTION (42) or STAND-BY button (40).<br />
