UTG Universaltechnik-Maier Industrieanlagenbau specialises
in the optimisation, modernisation and modifi cation
of existing paper machinery. UTG is active in all areas from
stock preparation to paper machine winders and smoothing
machines. The company develops technically creative, costeffective,
customised solutions with the aim of improving
quality and productivity whilst at the same time reducing
energy consumption. UTG has many years’ experience of
plant engineering for the paper and pulp industry and as a
result of its engineering expertise and experience of developing
processing technology for this industry, the paper and

inspecting the plant at fi rst-hand, when the current state
of the individual components is assessed, UTG consults
