2.2 Function monitoring, tests
on system level
Diagnosis, abbreviations:
C => cyclical
l => initialization
Drive Module:
- redundant uncoupled power supply of the system
components (automotive battery / backup battery),
- autonomous power supply for the microprocessors
(controlled voltage),
- monitoring of the control function from the Basic
Controller by the Safety Controller (C),
- redundant design of the microprocessor pair including
reversing logic (arbitration logic),
- independent reversing paths from all microcontrollers
(active from the master pair only),
- automatic reversing between the master and slave upon
each system start for system function testing,
- identification of all processors including status indication
(I),
- identification of the input devices including activation of
the audible alarm (I),
- function testing (boot-up diagnosis) of the
microcontrollers of the input device and the motor through
setpoint input by the driver including activation of the
motor and expectation of he control, activation of the
audible alarm during the test (I),
- communication of the controllers with the Information
Center via CAN including expectation of the driver.
