Dual potentiometer (incremental encoder): - Monitoring of the potentiometers and of the incremental encoder for implausible values, monitoring of the potentiometer for short circuit or discontinuity (I/C). Error Failure of one potentiometer or of both potentiometers. Failure of the encoder. Failure of all components. Error treatment Continuation via the encoder. Continuation via a potentiometer value.
