Sieg Landesmeisterschaft Tennis<br />
Wie letztes Jahr konnte sich die Tennismannschaft<br />
unserer Schule den Landesmeistertitel sichern.<br />
Trotz leichten Regens und starker Gegner konnten<br />
sich Anton Mooslechner (6A), Miriam Stolz (6B),<br />
Nicola Barisic, Christoph Lanzinger (7B) und Eldina<br />
Begovic (8B) im Finale souverän gegen die HIB<br />
Saalfelden durchsetzen. Wir gr<strong>at</strong>ulieren ganz herzlich!<br />

Tanzen aus Leidenschaft<br />
Vor zwei Jahren h<strong>at</strong><br />
Alicia Kidman erstmals<br />
einen Tanzworkshop an<br />
unserer Schule mit<br />
großem Erfolg abgehalten.<br />
Wir waren am<br />
Ende des heurigen<br />
<strong>Schuljahr</strong>s in der glücklichen<br />
Lage, dass Alicia,<br />
die in London Tanz studiert,<br />
bereits auf Ferienheim<strong>at</strong>urlaub<br />
war und<br />
somit zwei Workshoptage<br />
für die 5A und die<br />
Rhythmiker der 7A einplanen<br />
konnte. Ihre Energie<br />
im Tanzen machte<br />
sich sofort an der Motiv<strong>at</strong>ion aller Schüler bemerkbar.<br />
Nach ausgiebigen Aufwärmphasen wurde<br />
man bewegungstechnisch sichtlich immer lockerer.<br />
Beide Gruppen übten unterschiedliche Hip-<br />
Hop-Grundschritte und studierten anschließend<br />
Choreographien ein. Der Muskelk<strong>at</strong>er danach war<br />
vorprogrammiert.<br />

831 Pages – A Record without Rivals<br />
I am proud to announce th<strong>at</strong> my English group<br />
6AB has proved all critics wrong who claim th<strong>at</strong><br />
teenagers do not read books anymore. Starting<br />
slow in the first term with “Holes” by Louis Sachar<br />
(a mere 256 pages), they have set a new record<br />
when deciding to read the last Harry Potter volume<br />
“Harry Potter and the De<strong>at</strong>hly Hallows” by J.K.<br />
Rowling – 831 pages of pure magic (Expelliarmus),<br />
emotions (no, Dobby, please don’t die!) and the<br />
b<strong>at</strong>tle between good and evil (“Neither can live<br />
while the other survives”, page 808).<br />
It did not take long for the real HP experts to<br />
be revealed – in the lead: Bernhard Prieler (6A).<br />
He did a gre<strong>at</strong> job providing all the background<br />
inform<strong>at</strong>ion and explaining all the rel<strong>at</strong>ionships<br />
to our HP beginners. Though new to the whole<br />
Harry Potter business, Josi Palinko (6A), soon<br />
established herself as an invaluable source of<br />
knowledge concerning the comparison of book<br />
and film.<br />
Congr<strong>at</strong>ul<strong>at</strong>ions to all my students and... I am<br />
already curious which record we can break next<br />
year!<br />
