The focus is rather on adaptation and didactical use of LMS like ILIAS in notebookclassrooms and in regular lessons.As a result of this, many practical experiences were made and a lot of practical problems couldbe solved. A new mix of teaching methods is bringing a new life into Austrian schools.For what and why do teacher want to use a LMS in their lessons? Which preconditions must befulfilled to meet that? What about an effective customising? The ‘workaday life of school’ and the‘classroom-conditions’ must be effectively projected and implemented into a LMS.What are the requirements to a ‘practical and effective use of elearning’ with a LMS in school?Which role is ILIAS playing in teacher training institutes and what about the practical use of thistool? An increasing number of teachers want to organize their courses with the help of such alearning management tool.Subjects like an ‘electronic schoolbag’, a student-/parent-/teacher-survey in ILIAS, a practicalimplementation / customisation of ILIAS and the usability of rival open source LMS/LCMS arepresented.Kurzfassung:Aus zwei großen eLearning-Projekten im Sekundarstufenbereich I u. II (Hauptschulen, Gymnasien,AHS, BMHS) an den Schulen Österreichs wachsen Erfahrungen, eContent und Fachkräfte.Nicht mehr Plattformevaluationen (LMS-Evaluationen, Lern-Management-Systeme) stehen imVordergrund, sondern vielmehr der Einsatz von LMS wie ILIAS in Notebook-Klassen und im Regelunterricht.Dabei sind viele Erfahrungen gemacht sowie Probleme aufgetaucht und teilweisegelöst worden. Ein neuer Methodenmix bringt wieder Leben in manche Schule.Wozu brauchen Lehrer ein LMS im Unterricht? Welche Voraussetzungen müssen dazu gegebensein? Welche Rolle spielt eine effiziente Mandantenimplementation?
