Ladies and Gentlemen, Dear Readers,Probably it is the last „Trade Fairs in Poland” directory edited by Polish TradeFair Corporation. Most probably the next edition, including the calendar ofevents for 2008, will be more comprehensive, since it will be published byPolish Chamber of Exhibition Industry, in the foundation process of which wehave just got involved in. But before the process is finalized, let us presentyou our trade fair plans for the coming 2007 year.We are glad that the exhibitors and visitors participating in our trade fairsand exhibitions keep showing their interest in us. Moreover, both the Polishand the foreign exhibitors show their growing interest in the Polish trade fairmarket. They lay the most solid base for the development of the Polish tradefair industry. The Poland's gross domestic product is favourable at the moment.This is why we are optimistic about the business outlook for the nextyear and offer 217 trade fairs and exhibitions in 16 cities, although in the previousyear we were able to accomplish only 192 events in comparison with249 exhibitions scheduled.Trade fairs and exhibitions will take place in Bydgoszcz, Gdañsk, Jurata,Kielce, Kraków, Lublin, £ódŸ, Olsztyn, O¿arów Mazowiecki, Rogów, Szczecin,Toruñ, Warszawa, W³oc³awek, Wroc³aw and will be continued — for85 years now — in Poznañ.This is the very first time our directory includes extensive information onforeign trade fair participation opportunities for Polish companies and the organizersof foreign participations, the Corporation's members. In this way ourcommon fair offer has become more comprehensive and complete.It is worth mentioning that Polish Trade Fair Corporation is involved innumerous organizational projects including the activities in the area of education,such as publishing „Trade Fair Marketing. Exhibitor's Manual” edited byHenryk Mruk and Alojzy Kuca and other trade publications. We are proud tosay that the postgraduate study in Communications and Promotion in Business,created by Marketing Strategies Department, University of Economicsin Poznañ, developed in cooperation with PTFC, will be continued.I wish our Partners — both the Exhibitors and the other trade fair participants,further positive economic results and new business opportunities resultingfrom EU accession.
