In the course of the acquisition
of the company Menzolit-
Fibron, the plants in Trnava
and Sladkovicovo, Slovakia,
became part of POLYTEC
GROUP in April 2007.
Fibron which merged with
Menzolit in 1995, had founded
these plants at the beginning
of the 90s.
The plant in Trnava has a total
area of 16,125 m 2 and is located
in the big commercial estate
of Johns Manville, a large
glass fibre manufacturer and
supplier of POLYTEC.
Trnava produces predominantly
for the non-automotive sector.
Its main activity is the pressing,
deburring, pre-assembly and final
assembly of lamp housings.
In addition to 26 presses with a
closing pressure of 500 – 1,500
tons, Trnava has three foaming
systems available for production
to attach seals.
Its main customers are German
companies such as CEAG, SITECO,
AEG AG and Kathrein. Other deliveries
are made to the production
plant of Philips in Poland. Approx.
290 employees produce a total of
2.3 million housings per year.

The 230 staff members employed
in Sladkovicovo predominantly
produce parts for the
automotive sector in an area of
over 9,400 m 2 .
This production plant is located
at the outskirts of Sladkovicovo,
a small municipality with 7,000
inhabitants approx. 25 km to the
south of Trnava. In addition to ten
presses with a closing pressure of
500 to 1,800 tons for processing
LFT and SMC, this plant is equipped
with six milling machines and
two stamping presses.
In addition, the plant has its own
state-of-the-art painting line
for priming and applying texture
paint to the parts produced
there.
Its main customer is MAN,
for which different versions of
bumpers, fenders as well as storage
boxes and cabin steps are
produced. Further big customers
are VW, Audi, Skoda und Daimler
Trucks.
The Trnava plant is certified according
to ISO 9001:2000 and the
plant in Sladkovicovo according
to TS 16949:2002; both plants
hold an ISO 14001:2004 certification.
This means that POLYTEC
GROUP is able to guarantee its
usual high quality standards and
simultaneously an environmentally-friendly
use of resources.
The continuing increase of the
production capacity, in particular
in Sladkovicovo, resulted
in the take-over of a warehouse
hall with an area of 3,000 m 2 in
November 2007. In addition, a
further CNC milling machine
was transferred from Germany
to Sladkovicovo to be able to
satisfy the increased production
demand.
Further investments are planned
for the future to be able to meet
the capacity requirements.

Die Werke Trnava und
Sladkovicovo sind seit April
2007 im Rahmen der
Akquisition der Menzolit-
Fibron Teil der POLYTEC
GROUP.
Die Werke in ihrer jetzigen
Form wurden Anfang der
90iger Jahre von Fibron
gegründet, die im Jahr 1995
mit Menzolit fusionierte.
Das Werk in Trnava erstreckt
sich über eine Gesamtfläche
von 16.125 m 2 und befindet sich
auf dem großen Industriegelände
von Johns Manville,
einem großen Glasfaserhersteller
und Lieferanten von
POLYTEC.
In Trnava wird überwiegend für
den Non-Automotive-Bereich
produziert.
Hauptsächlich werden Lampengehäuse
in zahlreichen Varianten
gepresst, entgratet, vor- und
endmontiert.
Neben den 26 Pressen mit einer
Presskraft von 500 – 1.500 Tonnen
gibt es in Trnava noch drei
Schäumanlagen für die Anbringung
von Dichtungen, die für die
Produktion zur Verfügung stehen.
Zu den Hauptkunden zählen
vorwiegend Unternehmen aus
Deutschland wie CEAG, SITECO,
AEG AG und Kathrein. Auch das
Produktionswerk von Philips in
Polen wird von diesem Standort
aus beliefert. Insgesamt werden
2,3 Millionen Lampengehäuse p.a.
von den rund 290 Mitarbeitern
produziert.

Auf einer Fläche von über
9.400 m 2 stellen die 230 in
Sladkovicovo beschäftigten
Mitarbeiter hauptsächlich Teile
für den Automotive-Bereich
her.
Der Produktionsstandort befindet
sich am Rande von Sladkovicovo,
einem kleinen 7.000 Einwohner
umfassenden Ort cirka
25 km südlich von Trnava. Hier
werden neben den zehn Pressen
mit einer Schließkraft von 500
bis 1.800 Tonnen zur LFT- und
SMC-Verarbeitung, sechs Fräsanlagen
sowie zwei Stanzpressen
eingesetzt.
Das Werk verfügt darüber hinaus
seit 2004 über eine eigene
hochmoderne Lackieranlage für
die Grundierung und Strukturlackierung
der im Werk gefertigten
Teile.
Hauptkunde ist MAN, für den
verschiedene Varianten von
Stoßfängern, Kotflügeln sowie
Staukästen und Kabineneinstiege
hergestellt werden. Weitere große
Kunden sind VW, Audi, Skoda
und Daimler Trucks.
Das Werk Trnava ist nach
ISO 9001:2000, das Werk Sladkovicovo
nach TS 16949:2002
und nach ISO 14001:2004 sind
beide Werke zertifiziert. Dadurch
kann der in der POLYTEC GROUP
gewohnt hohe Qualitätsstandard
bei gleichzeitigem, umweltschonendem
Ressourceneinsatz gewährleistet
werden.
Die anhaltende Produktionssteigerung,
insbesondere in Sladkovicovo,
führte dazu, dass im November
2007 eine 3.000 m 2 große
Lagerhalle, übernommen wurde.
Darüber hinaus wurde eine weitere
Fräsanlage von Deutschland
nach Sladkovicovo verlagert, um
den gesteigerten Produktionsbedarf
decken zu können.
Auch für die Zukunft sind größere
Investitionen geplant, um die benötigten
Kapazitäten abdecken zu
können.
