9. Course<br />
9.1 The course marks are yellow/orange cylindrical buoys without numbers.<br />
9.2 Mark “1” is layed before the start to windward of the starting line <strong>and</strong> must be<br />
rounded to port.<br />
9.3 The other marks will be layed corresponding to the table of the course (SI 9.4)<br />
<strong>and</strong> must be rounded to port. Mark “1a” is a “spacer mark” <strong>and</strong> must be rounded<br />
to port.<br />
9.4 Following course will be sailed:<br />
Start – 1 – 1a – 3 – 1 – 1a – 2 – 3 – 1 – 1a – 3 – Ziel<br />
9.5 The length of one round is approximately 1,5 nm.<br />
10. Change of Course<br />
A change of direction <strong>and</strong> length of a leg will be signalled according to<br />
RRS 33. A green rectangular flag indicates a change to starboard, a red rectangular<br />
flag a change to port (Amendment to RRS 33,a,2).<br />
11. Finish<br />
11.1 The finishing line is between a pole with a blue flag on the “Finish Boat”<br />
<strong>and</strong> course mark “1”.<br />
11.2 Code flag “L” on the “Finish Boat” means: “Another race follows as soon as possible.”<br />
12. End of Race, Time Limit<br />
12.1 The end of the race is signalled by taking away the blue flag on the “Finish Boat”.<br />
12.2 A race will end at the latest 30 minutes after the first boat has finished. All boats still<br />
on the course will be scored DNF (Amendment to RRS 35 <strong>and</strong> RRS A 4).<br />
12.3 If no boat has finished the course within 90 minutes the race will be ab<strong>and</strong>oned<br />
(Amendment to RRS 35 <strong>and</strong> RRS A 4).
